Community Cohesion Strategy
A City-wide Community Cohesion Strategy
The City-wide Community Cohesion Strategy 2010/11
The draft City Wide Community Cohesion Strategy – Building Bristol Together has been developed over the last five months in discussion and consultation with residents, community groups and the public sector. It will provide a blue print for delivering a community cohesion approach within the day-to-day service provision of Bristol City Council and its partners. Discussion and consultation are an essential part of this process and will help to build a meaningful strategy that can make a real difference.
Phase 2 consultation from June through to September 2010 will enable people from across the city to comment on the draft strategy and influence the final document. We are looking for people to identify any gaps in the emerging priorities as well as commenting on the content to date. Any other relevant issues or concerns will also help us strengthen the draft document. Representation and input from across the city are a key part of the strategy process. Consultation will also help build an ongoing discussion about our changing city and the challenges we face.
The draft City-wide Community Cohesion Strategy 2010/11 can be found below, along with the `Our Shared Future' report and the `Cantle Report'.
