Community Development - Cohesion and Engagement Teams
Community Development Unit
Bristol City Council's Community Development Unit works with hundreds of voluntary organisations across the City. This ranges from work to assist small local groups of volunteers to address specific local needs to ongoing work with large organisations employing several staff and delivering services or regeneration projects.
We support and facilitate a growing number of cross-sector partnership organisations dealing with problems like crime, health issues and unemployment.
The Community Development Unit is organised into five teams under the Equalities & Community Cohesion Manager.
- Community Cohesion
- Community Engagement
- Equalities Forums
- Grants & Investments
- Community Buildings
