Opening times
Please note our opening hours vary with school term-times, as follows:
During term-time:
Monday to Thursday 9am-9pm.
Friday 9am-5pm.
Saturday 9.30am-5pm.
Sunday 10am-3pm.
During school holidays:
Monday to Thursday 9am-7.30pm.
Fridays 9am-5pm.
Saturday 9.30am-5pm.
Sunday 10am-3pm.
NB. St Pauls Library times are different to those of the Centre.
Facilities and courses
St Pauls Learning and Family Centre has been built in the heart of St Pauls in response to consultation with local residents. The Centre contains a number of training rooms, some equipped with ICT. You will also find:
- A public library with books, DVDs etc for all ages and tastes.
- A café providing home cooked meals and snacks.
- WiFi access and PCs available for use in café and library.
- A crèche for learners' children (see page 2).
- A multi-use hall.
- Two large art studios with facilities and equipment for pottery, stained glass, printing and sewing.
- Darkroom facilities for both colour and black and white photography available for individual bookings.
- Sound-proofed music room with vocal booth and recording facilities.
- Rooms for hire (see page 3).
The Centre currently offers over 70 courses, including:
- Basic Skills.
- Learning English as an additional language.
- Vocational courses.
- Food Safety.
- Leisure courses through the year. Full list of courses in Central and East Bristol.
Other local agencies also offer services at the Centre, such as:
- Tomorrow's People: Advice sessions to assist with getting work and training.
- Full Circle: Saturday Club for young people aged 5 to 11 years.
- Amana Education Trust: Supplementary School, Saturday and Sunday.
- St. Pauls Study Centre: Homework and SAT's support for BME young people.
- Opening Doors: Art and Health project for adults: Wednesdays 11.30am to 2.30pm.

Art exhibitions

Springtime show-off
Open throughout March this is an exhibition of work by our learners. Items to see include:
- Jewellery.
- Paintings.
- Pottery.
- Print making.
- Sculpture.
- Sewing.
- Stained glass.
Party, Saturday 20 March
As part of the celebrations we will be having a party from 2 to 4 pm. No need to book, just drop-in and catch the African drumming, singing and dancing.
