Free computers for families - the Home Access Initiative

Home Access is about giving children in state schools access to computers at home to support learning.

If you qualify, you could get a new home computer and broadband connection for a year - completely free.

Additional support for learners with assistive technology needs will be provided so that all children are able to benefit from the programme.

Do you qualify?

Your child must be in a state school in keystage 2 or 3 (7-14 years old).

Your family fit one of the following:

  • your child qualifies for free school meals

or you (as parents):

  • receive income-based job seekers allowance
  • have guaranteed pension credit
