Countryside walks taken from the Exploring the Countryside without a car publication can be found in the related documents section below. There is a brief description of distance, walking time and grade for each walk below.
Please note that all of these walk are under review and are currently being updated. Walks 3 and 13 have been withdrawn from the website.
We recommend that you read our guidance before you start any of the walks as it provides details on the maps, clothing and grading of the walks.
