Mancroft Park
General information
Mancroft Avenue, Lawrence Weston, Bristol, BS11
New and improved...
Mancroft Park is a neighbourhood green space which has recently undergone a major redevelopment following £200,000 investment by the council and its partner organisations, including: Neighbourhood Renewal, the Big Lottery Children's Play Programme and Groundwork with support from the Marks and Spencer Carrier Bag Scheme.
The dated and worn out play equipment has been replaced with a specially-designed playground, which incorporates imaginative use of natural elements - such as wood, stone and landscaping. There's more information about the new developments on the next page.
Events
There will be a play day in the park organised by the Bristol Play Rangers on Tuesday 28th July.
Access
Access is from Mancroft Avenue, Hopewell Gardens and Moorend. There is 24 hour open access to the park. The park is sloping in nature so path gradients may be too steep for some wheelchair users. Please check the attached map of the park for more information. Plan your visit to Mancroft Park with Regional Map, Journey Planner and City Map Viewer.
