Another one of Bristol's fine large Victorian suburban parks. The size, fine trees and variety of wildflife make this park one of the city's favourites.

Art and architecture
Only the original Victorian entrance gates remain from the splendid collection of ornamental structures built for the park during the 19th century.
Community, clubs and associations
There is a Friends of St George Park community group consisting of residents that live around the park. The group's aim is to work with the community and the council to improve the facilities of this very popular park. Developments
Following the successful launch of the Trees for Bristol project in Canford Park last year, Bristol Parks and its partners Trees for Cities and the Forest of Avon built on that success by holding a community planting day at St George Park when over 70 trees wre planted. The event was supported by HSBC, Trees for Cities' first national corporate sponsor. Click here for more information.
