TreeBristol Community Planting Events and Tree Care Days

We need your help with looking after the trees planted over the spring and summer. If you fancy joining the TreeBristol officer for a day of mulching, pruning and tree tie adjustments to help the trees to flourish please register your interest with the TreeBristol officer, contact details at the bottom of this page.

Planting Events

We hold community planting days during the planting season which runs from November to March. For details on events in winter 2010/11 watch this website or join the mailing list by contacting us, details at the bottom of this page.  Tree planting is great fun, very rewarding and it's free. We give tree planting demonstrations and provide all the tools needed.

Community Tree Planting

We will be holding planting events at the following sites in 2010/11, dates to follow:

  • Baddocks Wood, Southmead
  • Barton Fields, Hillfields
  • Bristol/Bath Railway Path, Fishponds
  • Brunswick Square Cemetery, St Pauls
  • Hengrove Park, Hengrove
  • Mowbray Road Open Space, Stockwood
  • Ridgeway Playing Fields, Hillfields
  • Whitchurch Railway path, Whitchurch
