Mini Recycling Centres
Mini Recycling Centres (MRCs) are usually placed at the bottom of blocks of flats or in households not suitable for the black box scheme.
They are made up of 6 large wheelie bins that take the following:
- Glass bottles and jars (rinse out and place the lids with your cans)
- Newspapers and magazines (including catalogues, junkmail and leaflets)
- Food and drinks cans (please remove lids and rinse)
- Aluminium foil and containers
There are over 410 Mini Recycling Centres in Bristol which help over 25,269 households to recycle.

Before requesting a Mini Recycling Centre for your block of flats, please check that there is enough room for the bins and for our vehicle to empty them.
