Don't miss the ever popular CREATE Festive Fayre  - inspired one planet shopping!

Bristol’s one-stop eco-shop returns with dozens of stalls selling Christmas gifts and goodies that won’t cost the Earth. The ever popular event offers shoppers the chance to escape the high street frenzy and enjoy some mellow live music, seasonal food and liquid refreshment while they shop. Don't miss out on the organic food and cosmetics, hand-crafted jewellery, glass-ware, pottery and ceramics and fairly traded toys and clothes on sale this year.

The Festive Fayre is Bristol's only Christmas market dedicated to green, organic, fairly traded and locally hand-crafted or designed products. Over 50 stalls will be present and include favourites from previous years with the Fayre becoming a firm favourite with many local businesses - All in a wonderful atmosphere with music, Bath Ales bar and seasonal food in the cafe.

Green Roofs + SUDS Exhibition

Green roofs and SUDS images

Come and be inspired by the Green Roofs and SUDS examples that already exist in Bristol, and see amazing examples from around the world.

  • SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage) mimic natural drainage patterns and help slow down surface water runoff (helping to prevent flash floods in heavy rain).
  • They are not just drains but can provide wonderful public water features, encourage local wildlife, prevent pollution and allieviate flooding.
  • Green roofs are a type of SUDS. They can be planted with a diverse number of plants giving wildlife an alternative habitat as well as reducing air pollution. You may be surprised to find a meadow in the centre of Bristol and a grass classroom in the sky!
