Greener living - what can I do?
Change something today
However small, every action counts. Individuals are responsible for about 40% of carbon emissions in the UK, with home energy use, driving and air travel some of the biggest contributors. Climate change is a big issue to tackle, but we can all do something about it.Join the 10:10 campaign
The 10:10 campaign is a simple but ambitious project to encourage people, organisations of any description - including businesses, to unite and help the country achieve a 10% in carbon dioxide emissions next year, 2010.
Bristol City Council and Bristol PCT have both joined the campaign and urge people, organisations and businesses in the city to also join and commit themselves to the campaign goals.
The 10:10 website gives you lots of ideas on how to save your energy and local sources of advice and expertise are provided on this set of webpages.
