What we are doing

In a world that seems to be for the young, we are celebrating age...

Celebrating Age Festival 2010

Festival week is from Monday, September 6 to Saturday, September 11, 2010.

This year’s the festival main event will be held in the Colston Hall on Saturday 11 September. This will be an exciting new venue for the big day and we hope to match that with a big increase in events taking around the city.

During past festivals older people sampled and enjoyed different activities and events including:

  • Swimming - sessions for 50+ adults
  • Exercise and healthy activity - armchair exercise, chairobics and walks around beautful parts of Bristol.
  • Creative sessions - films, dance sessions, drawing, painting and sculpture, or sing for your health with a fun-loving local choir!
  • Gardening - learn from friendly experts how to grow fruit and vegetables!
