Adult groups

If you'd like to join any of the groups meeting in libraries, please contact the relevant library (get the details and map by clicking on the library's name).

• Bedminster - group one meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 6 to 7pm. Group two meets on the first Thursday of every month from 6 to 7pm.
• Bishopsworth - meets on the last Monday of the month at 6pm.
• Central - meets on the second Thursday of the month from 5.45 to 7pm. Details of the books being read can be found on page 3 of the Lending Library information.
• Central - Visually impaired person's reading group meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 10.30 to 12 noon.
• Clifton - meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 5 to 6 pm.
• Cheltenham Rd - meets on the first Monday of the month from 10.30 to 12 noon.
• Eastville - meets on the last Friday of the month from 10.30 to 11.30 am.
• Fishponds - meets every three weeks. Contact the library for dates.
• Hartcliffe - meets every Thursday at 10.30 am.
• Henbury - meets the last Friday of the month from 11am to 12 noon.
• Henleaze - meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 10.30 to 12 noon.
• Horfield - meets on the first Monday of the month from 6 to 7pm.
• Knowle - group one meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 2 to 3pm. Group two meets on the first Monday of the month from 5.45 to 6.45pm.
• Marksbury Rd - meets every 4 to 6 weeks on a Friday at 2.30pm. Contact the library for dates.
• Redland - meets on the third Thursday of the month from 2.15 to 3.30pm.
• Sea Mills - meets on the first Monday of the month from 10.30 to 12 noon.
• Southmead - meets on the second Monday of the month from 10 to 11.30am.
• St George - meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm.
• Stockwood - meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 5.45 to 7pm.
• Westbury - group one meets on the last Thursday of the month from 2.30 to 4pm. Group two meets on the second Thursday of the month from 2.30 to 4pm.
• Wick Rd - meets every sixth Monday at 2pm. Contact the library for dates.

• Bedminster - meets on Saturday from 10.30 to 11.30am once a month. Please contact the library for dates.
• Bishopsworth - meets on the third Saturday of the month from 10.30 to 11.45am.
• Central - meets one Saturday a month from 10.30 to 11.45am. Please contact the library for dates.
• Marksbury Road - Chatterbooks for 7 to 11 year olds meets monthly on Saturday from 10.30 to 11.30 am. Booked up for 12 to 16 year olds meets monthly on Saturday from 10.30 to 11.30. Please contact the library for dates.
• Sea Mills - meets on the first Monday of the month from 3.45 to 4.45pm.
