Bristol Digitisation Bureau

Map from the Digi Bureau Collection Book from the Digi Bureau Collection

We all have old photographs, documents and valued objects.

Whether you are an individual, an archive, a company, a museum or a cultural organisation. Bristol Digitisation Bureau (BDi) can help you preserve these items for the future.

What's it all about?Using state of the art equipment, BDi offers a specialist service to carefully and safely record high quality digital images of photographs, documents and objects.

How does this benefit me?Digital images can be studied, stored, e-mailed, printed and published, making the information they contain readily available.

I am a professional..........Digitisation increases access to rare resources such as museum artefacts and historic documents, which lead to improved searching and browsing of collections. The originals can then be stored and preserved for the future.

I am a private individual........Everyone can benefit from this new technology. Precious photographs of relatives and ancestors, valued objects, or old family letters and diaries can be scanned or expertly photographed to a very high standard, to aid family history research or just to keep your images accessible for years to come.
