Steaming! New Season of Trips on the Harbour Railway
Be transported back to the days of steam when Bristol’s Museums, Galleries & Archives most popular exhibit – the impressive steam train chugs into action once again for a new season of harbour trips.
From as little as £2 for a single, visitors can take a ride on Britain’s only dockside steam railway, taking in the sites along the water.
The train will depart from the ss Great Britain on the harbourside every 40 minutes between 11am-5pm Prices are £3 return £2 single. Under 6s Free. Ss Great Britain ticket holders receive £1 off. For further information call 0117 922 3571.

Boats & Cranes
While the Museum of Bristol building work continues, opportunities to see the Museum’s cranes in action or to ride on the boats will be restricted. Instead, volunteers and staff are working to bring the cranes, Mayflower, Pyronaut and John King into first class order ready for the opening of the new Museum in 2011.
