Important update

Pool and fitness changing room closure

Due to essential maintenance being carried out, the main and learner pools and the fitness changing areas will be closed on Friday, 24 July 2009 from 6.30am-3.00pm. Changing facilities will still be available by the sports hall area.

Group exercise classes are FREE to all monthly and annual paying members (excluding courses and yoga). Alternatively, “pay and play” members, pay for each group exercise class they attend.

To plan your journey to the centre visit www.travelbristol.org.

Why not walk or cycle to your local centre. This is also a great way to warm up gently. Cycle parking stands are located at all Everyone Active centres or you can leave the car at home and use Walkit to plot your walk. You will be offered a direct route between two points, or a quieter off-main-road route, with estimates of route length, time taken, CO2 saved and calories burnt on your healthy walk.

Dipper card - A card that gives you 25 swims for the price of 20 at Everyone Active centres and pools.
Free swimming - A two-year government backed initiative providing free swimming to anyone aged 60 and over – and those aged 16 or under.
Free swims for pregnant women - If you are pregnant, you are eligible to enjoy free swims at Everyone Active centres and pools.
Swimming lessons - Whether simply learning to swim or going for rookie lifesaver qualification it's the ideal way to get trained up. We have special classes to help adults and children learn to swim.

Customer notices

Free swimming

From April 1, 2009 all children and young people aged 16 and under and anyone aged 60 and over - can enjoy free swimming in Bristol’s pools during the published public swim sessions. To take up the free swim offer all swimmers will need an “Everyone Active” card. The cards are free and are available from any of the centres operated on behalf of the council by SLM. New exercise class

A new exercise class is running for those suffering from pulmonary conditions including COPD, asthma, emphysema and bronchitis. Download the poster below for more information.
