Sport Unlimited
What is Sport Unlimited?
Sport Unlimited is an exciting term time programme of sports and activities for ages 5 to 19.
If you have been inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing or are excited about sport in the lead up to London 2012, this is a great opportunity to get into sport.
We have a variety of sporting activities during evenings and weekends at a variety of locations around the city, including leisure centres, schools, colleges and community venues.

Supporting children with a disability to take part
We are keen to encourage and include more young people with a disability into mainstream activities so they can enjoy a positive and fun experience in their chosen sport or physical activity.
We hope to inspire young people to try new sports and enjoy the social aspect of making new friends. If your child has a disability and/or additional needs and they would like to take part in any of these sports, then please do get in touch. We will be only too pleased to discuss your child's needs, and determine with you the level of support they'll need to get the most out of the activities.
Free t-shirt
Attend five or more sessions and receive a FREE Sport Unlimited t-shirt.
There's no need to do anything extra, when you register for your activity we will log your attendance and you will automatically receive a FREE t-shirt when you have attended at least five sessions of the same activity.

Sport Unlimited in more detail
Sport Unlimited is part of the new five hour offer for young people in England. Nationally, £36m of new Government funding for young people's sport has been ring fenced for this programme by Sport England.
Sport Unlimited funding is targeted at 'semi-sporty' children, young people and young adults living in Bristol. It will engage them in an extra 1-2 hours a week (minimum 10-weeks) of high quality sport and physical activity.
Sessions are being organised across Bristol in a variety of activities from parkour to climbing and football to cheerleading. All of these sessions can be found on this web page others will be added as and when they are up and running.
The Sport Unlimited programme is just beginning the third year of delivery. To date, more than 7,800 young people have been retained in Sport Unlimited activities across the West of England.
Sport Unlimited in Bristol is supported by the Bristol School Sport Partnerships and The West of England Sport Trust (Wesport).
