Walking the Way to Health Bristol
Latest news and information
Lockleaze and Horfield Strollers - a new walking group for North Bristol
This new group will be striding out together over the summer months both in the local area and using buses to explore other parts of Bristol. All the walks are between 1 and 4 miles and many will provide a long and shorter walk option.
Lockleaze and Horfield areas are well connected to many of Bristol's fabulous green spaces including The Downs, Seamills, Purdown, Stoke Park and Snuffmills to name but a few. We will be exploring all of these places over the next few months and we welcome new, local members.
Just turn up 5 minutes before the meeting time stated on the programme and look for the leader who will be wearing a yellow tabard. All walks are free, please bring money for bus fares and refreshments.
For further information please download the programme from the "Latest health walks programmes" link at the top of this page or call Nicola Ferris on 07810 506 738.
Walk to your breast screening appointment in the Easton Ward

Below is a downloadable walking map with routes from Charlotte Keel Health Centre and Lawrence Hill to the Central Health Clinic in the city centre.
Walking to your appointment from these areas will take you approximately half an hour, will be great exercise for you and you will not have to pay parking fees or bus fares. Why not ask a friend or relative to walk with you if they have an appointment around the same time.
Translations in Hindi, Punjabi,Traditional Chinese, Urdu and Somali are available at the bottom of the map.
