Research Room

The Bristol & Avon Family History Society (BAFHS) Research Room is based at Bristol Record Office.  Volunteers are on hand to offer free advice whether you are a beginner or a more experienced family historian.  Non-members are welcome - just walk in and sign the visitors book.  Information is available on microfiche, CDs, books, the internet (BAFHS have subscribed to Ancestry.com), and several members of the Society are present at each session giving help if required.

Research Room

Wednesdays, 10 am to 1 pm   
Thursdays, 1 pm to 4 pm
PLUS
the first two Saturdays of the month, 10am - 1 pm (unless clashing with a Bank Holiday)
