What is a Controlled Parking Zone?
Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) are created to restrict parking to those with the appropriate permits or allowances. For example, Residents Permits enable local residents to park but discourages commuter parking.
The Central Bristol CPZ was established in 1993, with parking bays operated on a Residents Permit and Pay and Display basis. Residents of specific streets are eligible to apply for a permit. Please contact Parking Services to check your eligibility.
