Reebok Bristol mile races and street sprints

Mile runners and street sprinters are invited to register for the 2008 Reebok Bristol Road Mile and Street Sprints events, taking place on Saturday, September 13 at College Green.
The Reebok Bristol Road Mile and Street Sprints annual event is organised in partnership with the Bristol and West Athletics Club. It has a growing reputation for a fast course and regularly attracts entrants from across the southwest region.
Registration is free and is open to anyone from either a registered athletics club or from schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset. Application forms are available on the half marathon website and must be completed and returned by Wednesday, September 10.
In the mile races, there are several categories of races for young athletes under 11 to the senior races. Whilst the street sprints are a fun event aiming to find the fastest young runners in the city and is open to boys and girls aged under 10.
· The mile races will be for under 11 (minimum eight years on the day), under 13, under 15, under 17, under 20 (on the day) and senior male and female - over 35 for women and over 40 for men.
· The street sprints are for children under 10 on August 31, 2008.
