Who are we?
The primary role of the Licensing Team is to maximise public safety through the issuing and enforcement of permissions covering a wide range of regulated activities.
What licences do we issue?
We currently administer and regulate the following licence types:
- Alcohol, entertainment and hot food- Premises licences, club premises certificates and Temporary Event Notices
- Charity Collections - Street Collections, House to House Collections
- Gambling premises - Premises licences, Lotteries
- Miscellaneous licences - Sex Establishments, Scrap Metal dealers, Motor Salvage Operator
- Personal licences
- Street Trading
- Taxi Licensing - Hackney Carriage, Private Hire, operator licence
