Anti social behaviour and nuisance
What is anti-social behaviour?
Anti-social behaviour is unacceptable behaviour that can upset people's lives. Examples include nuisance neighbours, vandalism, graffiti and flyposting, begging and anti-social drinking.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 defines anti-social behaviour as 'acting in a manner that caused or was likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household'.
It is important that we tackle anti-social behaviour as it can ruin peoples lives. It doesn't just make life difficult but can create an environment where more serious crime can occur.
