Bristol Biodiversity Action Plan Launched
The Bristol Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) has now been launched. Bristol is one of the greenest cities in the country and is home to a wide range of wild plants and animals and wild spaces where wildlife can thrive. Bristol has everything from skylarks and hedgehogs to water voles and otters; it also has wildflower meadows, woodlands, ponds and rivers. The Bristol Biodiversity Action Plan is an ambitious blueprint for the sustainable future of our city’s natural environment. The plan sets out a framework for how the council and our partners will work together to care for our natural environment and the species that live here. The plan will help benefit wildlife and help secure Bristol’s natural environment for local people to enjoy.
