Healthy living
Welcome to healthy living
Here you’ll find out about physical activity, and how small changes can lead to big benefits.
Whether you are looking to lead a healthier lifestyle, find activities suited for your fitness level or advice on how to advance your current regime, we have a programme to suit your needs.
In partnership with external organisations and local council sports and leisure facilities, there are a number of activities for all abilities. Specific programmes for young people both during the school year and over holidays, classes for adults who are 50+, fitness initiatives supporting disabled people, specialist help through our physical activity referral scheme and supervised sessions for people recovering from cardiac and pulmonary disease are all on offer.
