The City Council is Bristol's largest employer and we have a huge range of temporary positions available and are always on the look out for people with skills and experience in the following areas:

If you feel that you are lacking experience in certain areas, fear not! Provided you have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills we would be equally interested in hearing from you.

Assignments can be short-term, long-term, full-time or part-time so there is usually something to suit everyone.

Over the years many of our members have found that their inclusion on our register has provided them with further valuable skills and experience, gained in varied and interesting placements.

Many members have subsequently secured permanent positions within the City Council.
