Where is the Olympic Torch Relay going to be in Bristol?
Following the Olympic Torch Relay celebration on Tuesday 22 May on Bristol's harbourside the torch relay restarts in Bristol on Wednesday 23 May.
The torch relay restarts on Wednesday 23 May at 5.54am from College Green and will travel along Hotwell Road to Pooles Wharf where it goes into 'torch in transit' mode (ie: it travels in a van and won't be visible for spectators) to Flax Bourton.
The torch re-enters Bristol across the Clifton Suspension Bridge at 7.53am and leaves the city via Henleaze and Southmead at 9.05am where it goes back into 'torch in transit' mode towards Filton.

The London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay route
The London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, which commenced on Saturday, 19 May from Lands End in Cornwall, makes its epic 70 day journey around the UK, covering approximately 8,000 miles, before it arrives in London at the Olympic Stadium.

The flame will light the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony on Friday, 27 July to signify the start of the Olympic Games.

Line the streets to support the Olympic Torch Relay
Gather your neighbours, friends and family together and line the streets for the Olympic Torch Relay.
- Make some noise: strike up the band, and get the crowd going with some music to help cheer the Flame on.
- Bring out the bunting: The Olympic Torch Relay is the perfect chance to get busy with bunting and add some colour to your street.
- Celebrate with snacks: challenge your neighbours to create their own Flame-inspired recipes.
- Get dressed up: stand out from the crowd with fancy dress, flame hats or golden clothes and face-paint.
