How to apply for Affordable homeownership or Homebuy

If you are interested in any of the schemes, you will need to do two things:

• register with South West Homes. They are the first point of contact for all affordable home ownership initiatives. They will be able to register your interest and advise you about suitable opportunities that are currently available.

• apply to our housing register so your housing need can be assessed, even if you are an existing council tenant. Most affordable home ownership schemes are over subscribed and it is necessary for us to draw up a priority list based on each of the applicant's assessed housing need.
