Cafes re-opening

We are pleased to say that Blaise Castle Estate Cafe has now re-opened.

The following catering facilities will be open shortly:

• Ashton Court Estate - Courtyard Cafe (expected opening date 30 May)
• Canford Park (expected opening date 18 May)
• Castle Park (expected opening date August)
• Oldbury Court Estate (expected opening date 25 May)

Ashton Court Estate - courtyard café

Currently closed

Situated in the stables courtyard, this café has retained many of the 19th century period features of the original coach house which offers something for all the family.

Opening times

• Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm (April to October)
• Monday to Sunday 10am to 3pm (November to March)

Special features and facilities

• Pitched glass canopy.
• Toilets facilities and separate disabled toilet block and baby changing facilities.
• Seating is available both inside the café and outside under the glass canopy.

Blaise Castle Estate café

Address: Blaise Castle Estate, Kings Weston Road, Bristol BS10 7QS

This café and kitchen lie on opposite sides of a spine wall. Fully accessible with extensive glazed frontage. Located close to the main car park off Kings Weston Road and large play area.

• Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm (April to October)
• Monday to Sunday 10am to 3pm (November to March)

Special features and facilities

• Toilet facilities and separate disabled toilet block.
• Baby changing facilities.
• Seating is available both inside the café and outside.
• Unique design of the building won a Royal Institute of British Architects Wessex regional award in 2006.
• Inclusion of art through sculpture, engraved poetry and a water wall.

Hengrove Play Park café

The café is situated inside the main gates of Hengrove Play Park.

Opening times

• opens within an hour of the park opening - 10am
• closes within an hour of the park closing:
  April to September - 7pm
  October to March - dusk

• Designated smoking area on the large patio.

Originally an ornate Edwardian toilet block sensitively restored for present use. Located next to the changing rooms by the water tower this café offers the most splendid view of the downs.

Open all year (except Christmas Day):

The café kiosk at Oldbury Court Estate is a purpose built facility located in the picturesque setting next to the adventure play park, sports fields and a popular dog walking route.

Weather permitting these times may be extended at the manager's discression.
