Still time to have your say

Bristol residents who have not yet had their say on the future of the city's Neighbourhood Partnerships can still contribute to the consultation before it ends in April.

The Mayor of Bristol, George Ferguson, wants to develop the community decision-making bodies to enable them to have more say over local services.

Neighbourhood Partnerships were introduced in 2008 in order to give communities a greater say on local services such as street cleaning, park maintenance, recycling facilities, minor traffic schemes, highway maintenance and community safety. There are 14 in the city.

The consultation will run until Monday, April 1. It is asking:

• What should the purpose of Neighbourhood Partnerships be?
• How can we improve the decision making process?
• How can we get more people involved in decision-making?
• How can we improve outreach work, community engagement and communications?

• completing the citywide survey
• attending one of our citywide events
