Henbury Leisure Centre achieves Quest excellence
Release date:
Fri, 05/10/2012
Henbury Leisure Centre, which is operated by Everyone Active in partnership with Bristol City Council, has achieved an ‘excellent’ rating on its industry assessment, called Quest.
The Quest programme is the UK Quality Scheme for Sport and Leisure and demonstrates a leisure centre’s commitment to high standards, good practice and a focus on customer service.
The Excellent rating means Henbury Leisure Centre achieved scores of over 90 per cent across the board in all areas that were assessed and puts the leisure centre in the top five leisure facilities in the country alongside Lammas Leisure Centre and Basildon Sporting Village, which are also operated by Everyone Active.
Commenting on the result, Andy Read, Quest assessor, said: ”The genuine team spirit and passion for delivering a quality service was evident throughout the Quest assessment at Henbury Leisure Centre. And their professional management team and staff impressed from the time of arrival until leaving the centre on the second day.”
Gary Teagle, contracts manager for Henbury Leisure Centre, commented: “We are delighted that all the hard work and dedication that all our staff put in on a daily basis has resulted in such a high Quest score on our assessment. This is a hugely pleasing result and one which we should all be incredibly proud of achieving.”
All the leisure centres in Bristol operated by Everyone Active have achieved the Quest standard but Henbury Leisure Centre is the first centre to have achieved the ‘excellent’ rating.
