Blaise Castle House Museum is a beautiful historic house set in 400 acres of landscaped parkland well known for its dramatic scenery and woods. It has been a museum for well over 50 years and has some fine examples from Bristol's art collections.


The venue is 15 to 20  minutes from Bristol City Centre.

The Picture Room

  • Has space for up to 80 guests
  • Decorated with a sumptuous red flock paper and hung with pictures from the fine art collections
  • Lit by four beautiful chandeliers and features a classical portico and domed glass ceiling
  • Leads straight out onto the rear terrace
  • Can accommodate live music for your ceremony at this venue 
  • Has a CD player compatible with i-pods and MP3 players 

The Dairy Garden

  • Have your ceremony outdoors in the ‘secret’ Dairy garden 
  • Trees border the garden
  • The Dairy Cottage features a quaint thatched porch
  • Guests can view your ceremony from the sloped lawn beside a pond.
  • Has space for up to 80 guests


  • Packages start from £650+vat for an indoor ceremony
  • Packages start from £995+vat to hold your ceremony in the dairy garden

Prices do not include those payable to the Registrars Office

Price includes:

  • Use of the room 

  • Chairs to suit the Grand theme of the room

  • Linen if needed

  • Choice of music and personal vows

  • Access to the rear terrace with views of Blaise Castle

  • Event personnel 


There is private parking directly outside Blaise Castle House Museum for up to four cars.

There are two car parks:

  • main car park off Kings Weston Road at BS10 7QS
  • small car park off The Dingle at BS9 2PA

There is no charge for parking.

Disabled access

The main car park has five disabled parking bays.

The small car park has one disabled parking bay.

The entrance to the estate from the small car park is through a kissing gate that's not accessible to wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

If you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter you can access the site from the main car park at Kings Weston Road.
