Gigabit broadband for businesses and residents

Bristol has been chosen as one of five areas in the UK to pilot a government voucher scheme for local businesses and organisations to get gigabit broadband.

The voucher scheme will provide up to £3,000 to help with the cost of getting gigabit broadband which is 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps).

Applicants must be small or medium sized enterprises (SME), registered charities or social enterprises.  Further details on eligibility for the scheme can be found on gigabit broadband voucher scheme site.

How gigabit broadband can help your business

Gigabit connectivity could be transformative for your business by:
•    helping to boost productivity by saving time and speeding up processing,
•    making it easier to use cloud services
•    enabling employees to work remotely and more flexibly
•    delivering satisfied customers, more likely to come back
