South Bristol Talent Pathway

What the South Bristol Talent Pathway is, who it's for and how to get involved.

The South Bristol Talent Pathway Project (SBTaPP) is a scheme to help students from south Bristol get jobs and work placements in small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The scheme is for students aged 14 to 18 years old in the South Bristol area, and will create:

  • 18 jobs
  • 100 work placements 

Placements are due to start in early summer 2022.

Workforce for the Future

SBTaPP is part of the Workforce for the Future programme, which is a free support service for businesses and individuals in the West of England.

It helps businesses develop employees' skills and supports local residents to upskill and improve their career prospects.

Workforce for the Future is an £8 million programme co-funded by the West of England Combined Authority and the European Social Fund (ESF). The programme has received £4m of funding from the ESF as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
