Current consultations

Cameron Centre and former Police Station

Early proposals for this 0.35 hectare site include new homes and ground floor community facilities incorporating a library.

We and the design team are still at a very early stage in the process. We’re looking at previous studies and work done to date, and publicly engaging the community.

This is the first part of a two-stage public participation process.

The next stage will take place later in 2021. This is where you’ll be asked for your feedback on some design proposals once the design team has had the opportunity to consider your local insight.

How to give us your suggestions

We’ve launched a Plans for Cameron Centre website to give you an opportunity to contribute your suggestions to feed into this design process.

You can either highlight specific suggestions on the interactive map, or complete a short questionnaire to let us know about your broader aspirations for the site and its local environment.

To receive updates on the project, sign up to our mailing list or by 'opting-in' to updates when you complete the questionnaire or add a suggestion to the map.

You can email the team via hello@plansforcameroncentre.com or by calling on 0117 911 4210.

Previous consultations

Dovercourt Depot

The proposal is for a residential development on the Dovercourt Depot site in Lockleaze. It's currently used by the council for storage.

The development proposals provide 120 to 150 affordable and market value homes.

The first round of public consultation on proposed housing development at Dovercourt Depot closed on 16 April 2021.

Comments received are being used to shape a design option which will be consulted on this summer, to inform the design for the outline planning application to be submitted later this year.
