St George Library
You can visit St George Library to:
- return your loans
- collect your reservations
- collect books ordered using call and collect
- pick up a ‘lucky dip’ book bundle: these are selected by our library staff in a variety of categories for adults and children, you don’t need to pre-book
All other services are suspended.

St George Library has extended access. This is self service access at selected times when the library is unstaffed.
By bus: find information and plan your journey on the TravelWest website.
Cycling: There are bicycle stands on the pavement in front of the library.
For drivers: Small car park to rear of library; on-street parking nearby; large car park nearby.

Councillor's surgery (St George West, St George Central and St George Troopers Hill wards):
- first Saturday in the month, 11.30am to 12.30pm
No appointment needed.
IT Support Sessions: Tuesdays, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Baby bounce and rhyme: term-time Tuesdays at 11am..
Pre-school children’s storytime: term-time Thursdays 10.15am to 10.45am.
School holiday activities: contact the library for details.
Reading group adults
Meets on the third Friday of the month, 6pm to 7pm.
