Hot food traders should cook produce predominantly from traders at the market.
 
We have a duty to protect the public funds we administer. For this reason, we may use the information you give on this form for the prevention and detection of fraud. We may also share this information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds for these purposes.

All traders must have an insurance policy with an insurance company approved by Bristol City Council, with a minimum indemnity of:
  • £10 million for Employer Liability
  • £5 million for Public Liability
  • £5 million for Product Liability
You can get this cover by becoming a member of the National Market Traders Federation. You can also get a quotation from an insurance broker. Contact the Markets Office for details.
