Sports coaching course dates

There are several courses to help you become a sports coach.

Free introductory coaching courses for adults (16+)

This course introduces you to the role of a sports coach. You will learn the skills you need to volunteer at a sports club or get into paid work.

You can take this course over three evenings or do it over one day.

Three evening course

This free introductory coaching course for adults is run over 3 evenings.

We're running this course in February and in May.

February

  • Tuesday 7 February 2017, 6pm to 9pm
  • Tuesday 17 February 2017, 6pm to 9pm
  • Tuesday 21 February 2017, 6pm to 9pm

Where: St Pauls Academy, Newfoundland Road, Bristol, BS2 9NH.

May

  • Tuesday 2 May 2017, 6pm to 9pm
  • Tuesday 9 May 2017, 6pm to 9pm
  • Tuesday 16 May 2017, 6pm to 9pm

One day course

This free introductory coaching course for adults can be completed in one day.

We're running this course in February and in May.

February

When: 15 Feb 2017, 10am to 4pm

Where: St Bedes School, Long Cross, Bristol, BS11 0SU (to be confirmed)

May

When: 19 May 2017, 10am to 4pm

Where: to be arranged

Level 2 Award

This nationally recognised qualification enables you to lead small groups of people in sport and recreational activities.

We are running two sessions in 2017.

  • Starts: 28 February 2017, 6pm to 9pm
  • Starts: 23  May 2017, 6pm to 9pm
