How to find us
By public transport
The Passenger Shed is located in the historic railway terminus building of the Great Western Railway situated next to Bristol's Temple Meads railway station. It is served by the city's principal public transport services, including rail, bus, park and ride and airport shuttle.
Temple Meads is served by many buses. From the station approach First Bristol operates services 8, 8A, 9 and 9A that connect with the city centre, Clifton and Redland. The A1 and A2 services go to Bristol Airport, while services such as the 121 and 672 connect with various villages around Somerset such as Chew Magna and Cheddar. On Temple Way, the main road outside the station, there are cross-country services to Wells and Bath via Saltford.
There are also local bus services which go past the Passenger Shed. Service 1 runs from Broomhill to Cribbs Causeway, service 51 from centre to Rookery Farm and service 52 from Hengrove to Inns Court.
Car users using the M4 should leave at junction 19, taking the M32 to the city centre and follow signs to Temple Meads station. Take junction 19 for Bristol city centre if travelling north on the M5 or junction 18 if travelling south. Pay and display parking is available in the Clock Tower Yard car park or in the nearby Temple Gate car parks.
Private coaches may set down and pick up on site on Station Approach. Click here for details of coach parking
