Where NHS staff and care workers can park for free and how to get a permit.
Where you can park
If you work for the NHS or as a care worker, you can park for free in all:
- public car parks owned by the council
- on-street pay and display bays
- residents’ parking zones, including shared use bays
Get a permit
You must have a COVID-19 Parking Concession digital parking permit to park for free.
Previously issued parking passes or letters of evidence currently displayed are no longer valid.
