Previous consultations

Dovercourt Depot

An outline planning application for up to 140 homes at this brownfield site in Lockleaze was submitted on 8 February 2022 and is currently pending consideration.

If approved the development will deliver at least 30% affordable homes and will be built with high sustainability standards to lower emissions and enhance the site's ecological value. The project will be delivered by the council's housing company; Goram Homes, alongside their partner Keepmoat Homes.

Cameron Centre

An initial consultation was held on these Outline proposals in February and March 2021.

The design team have allocated additional time to carry out further work on a number of aspects, such as the delivery and stewardship of community space that responds to the aspirations of the local community.

A revised masterplan will be consulted upon this Autumn. Further information and comments made on the interactive map from the first round of consultation can be found on the Plans for Cameron Centre website.

Blake Centre

The proposal is for a combination of Extra Care Housing (with care and support that promotes independence) where older individuals, with a range of individual needs, live alongside young people in an intergenerational' setting. 

The development will provide up to 60 affordable dwellings and will feature a mix of 1 and 2 bed apartments.

Bonnington Walk

The new housing development will provide around 188 dwellings, with 30% affordable housing provision. The development will feature a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed houses in short terraces and 1 and 2 bed apartments within low rise apartment blocks.

Former Brunel Ford dealership, Muller Road

The new housing development will provide 32 affordable dwellings and will feature a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed houses and 1, 2 and 3 bed apartments.

The new housing development will provide 47 affordable dwellings and will feature a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed houses as well as 1 and 2 bed apartments.

Lockleaze local lettings policy

pdf local lettings policy (178 KB) has been developed in collaboration with the local community, under which 50% of new social and affordable rented properties within each of the developments being undertaken within Lockleaze will be allocated to applicants that meet specific local connection criteria.
