Bristol Food Connections Community Pot

Bristol Food Connections is a unique citywide food festival that aims to bring people and good food together running from 11 to 17 June 2018.

Throughout the week, the city will be transformed into one huge celebration of good food, with events designed by the people who grow, farm, cook and sell our food.

The theme of Food Connections 2018 is ‘TIME’.

How does time affect our eating patterns? From meal times to special times; past times to future time; fast food or slow food; the changing seasons or transportation time. The aim is that people hosting events during Food Connections 2018 will be inspired and draw new ideas from the theme, but don’t feel restricted or constrained by it.

Bristol Food Connections and Bristol City Council are offering small grants of £300 for individual applications or up to £1000 for partnership applications to support events taking place during Food Connections week 2018.

People will be asked to pitch their ideas to a panel of representatives from the local community by following criteria listed in the below documents.
