Local transport funding

Funding for local transport schemes is very limited. We can only make a small number of changes each year.

There might be funding for local transport schemes in the future, through development funding, or nearby major projects.

Road improvements we're not responsible for

We’re not responsible for improving:

  • private roads, you’ll need to check the Land Registry to see who’s responsible for the private road
  • motorways or trunk roads, you’ll need to contact Highways England
  • private car parks, you’ll need to contact the owner of the car park

We're also not responsible for enforcing speed limits. You need to contact the Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
