Key information for social care providers
Bristol is committed to making radical and urgent change through our programme for adult social care transformation, “Better Lives: Improving outcomes for adults in Bristol.”
Our vision is set out in our Overarching Market Position Statement “Working Together for Better Lives”
We intend to work transparently with all providers, existing and new to Bristol, ensuring quality and encouraging innovation in line with our vision.
Delivering Better Lives is about partnership, and we will be developing and updating our approaches in line with feedback from people with support needs, their families and networks, service providers and other partners.

Working Together: Engaging with Providers
You can find out about opportunities to engage with us through Provider Forums
We plan to run a series of 'Open Doors' dates. These are for providers (of any size, kind of service and whether already active in Bristol or not), who, having read the Market Position Statement, want to talk to us about developments and opportunities. The dates will be published on this page when confirmed.
If you have a concern question or query about your existing contract, you should make direct contact with our Contracts and Quality Team
Information about current tenders and funding opportunities can be found on the Opportunities to tender page.
Working Together to deliver Better Lives at Home
The development of quality supported living options and Extra Care Housing is core to our Vision. To take this forward we need to work with housing developers and providers as well as care and support providers.
As our plans in this area develop you will be able to see them on Better Lives at Homepage ( Content being developed).
Working Together to deliver Quality
We are committed to supporting all providers to deliver a quality service. We are developing our approaches to this. More information will be available soon.
We look forward to working with you to deliver Better Lives and improve Outcomes for Adults in Bristol.
