Our fostering events, how to book a place on one, and how to stay up to date with upcoming events.

Foster Care Fortnight: May 2019

Foster Care Fortnight is a national event that runs from 13 to 26 May. You can find out more on the Fostering Network website.  

Foster Carer Takeover, 13 to 17 May,  20 to 24 May: call 0117 353 4200 between 10am and 12pm to speak to a foster care expert.

Fostering Circle for Foster Care Fortnight 2019

Come along and chat in an informal setting about fostering with local foster carers and care leavers.

Date: Wednesday, 22 May, 6pm to 7.30pm

Location: Windmill Hill Community Centre, Vivian Road, BS3 4LW

Fostering information evenings

We have information evenings on fostering every six weeks, in central Bristol. At these sessions, you’ll learn about:

  • the children who need fostering in Bristol
  • the process of becoming a foster carer
  • the skills and qualities you need to become a carer
  • the rewards and realities of fostering from a foster carer

At the end of the evening, you can talk to one of the foster carers who will be there. You can also talk to us.
