Christmas trading dates and what you get as a St Nick's Christmas trader.

St Nicholas Market is home to the largest collection of local, independent indoor and outdoor market traders in Bristol.

Operating from a uniquely historical setting in the centre of Bristol, the market is a thriving and much-loved alternative retail destination.

Trading period

This year, the trading period for Christmas starts on Friday 17 November 2023, with the addition of:

  • 6 Fridays
  • 6 Saturdays
  • 6 Sundays

This is in line with the indoor market opening.

The market will be open every day except Wednesdays.

Wednesday markets

Wednesday markets are not included in Christmas at St Nick's this year. We're working to reimagine our Farmers market, which takes place on Wednesdays, so Corn Street will not be available for Christmas trading.

If the Farmers Market stalls are underoccupied, we'll release these stalls for Christmas trading on a first come, first served basis. Booking will be via our Shopify bookings webpage.

St Nick's street food market will continue to run on a Tuesday and Friday on Wine Street. Our Indies market and Thursday Threads market are paused until the new year.
