What are Equality Impact Assessments (EqIAs)
Equality Impact Assessments (EqIAs) are what we use to check the possible impact of our policies and proposals on equalities groups.
Our assessments have to be based on good evidence which includes listening to the views of the people who are likely to be affected.
How you can read our EQIAs
- EqIAs are published with the papers for all our cabinet and full council decisions
- We also publish EqIAs and equalities relevance checks our budget decisions
