How to pay your rent and how to claim a discount.

You'll find instructions on how to pay your allotment rent on the back of your invoice.

We'll send you an annual invoice in autumn each year.

Pay your invoice online

If you don't pay within 40 days of the date of the invoice you'll have to give up your plot.

You must tell us when you vacate a plot (when you end your tenancy agreement) to avoid being billed and chased for payment.

Keep any evidence of your payment (such as receipts or an online payment number). If there's any mix up this can help us to trace your payments.

Pay by Direct Debit

You can pay your annual allotment rent by Direct Debit in one annual payment.

Payment will be the 25th of the month, a minimum of 10 working days after invoice date.

To pay by Direct Debit:

  1. Print out and  document complete the Direct Debit form (120 KB)
  2. Send the completed form to: Accounts Receivable (100TS), PO BOX 3399, 100 Temple St, Bristol, BS1 9NE

If you're unable to print the form, you can request for one to posted to you, email allotments@bristol.gov.uk

Site and tenancy discounts

Site representatives receive a 100% discount on their plot.

The number of discounted plots available is based on the number of tenanted plots on the site.

Overgrown plot discounts

You may be able to get 50% discount as a new tenant if you take on an overgrown plot. This discount is not applied to interim bills.

The site representative will inform us at the start of the tenancy if you qualify for an overgrown plot discount.

We can't grant discounts once you have cleared and planted a plot.
