We're experiencing issues with some of our online forms. We're working to fix them as soon as possible. Please try again later.

We've switched to a new system called MyBristolHousing that will help us and our housing partners provide a better service.

What's changed

HomeChoice Bristol is available on a new system called MyBristolHousing.

  • To access your account, you'll need a valid email address. If you don't have one, you should set one up now. The 5 most commonly used email providers are Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Apple Mail and ProtonMail.
  • The printed HomeChoice newsletter has stopped.
  • You cannot bid on properties over the phone.

Overview of the new MyBristolHousing online service

If you haven't registered yet, these are the main steps you'll need to complete:

  • create a Bristol Account if you're a new user
  • sign in to your Bristol Account
  • create your new MyBristolHousing account:
    1. Verify your email address
    2. Verify your mobile phone number
    3. If you have a HomeChoice Bristol application in progress, you'll need to create a connection to your new account to be able to make changes to your existing application and bid for properties.

Once you're registered, you only have to make one application to MyBristolHousing to be considered for all social housing properties owned by partner social housing providers and by us.

Further information is available on our website.
