Library closures: May bank holidays
Due to the May bank holidays, all Bristol libraries will be closed on Monday 4 May and Monday 25 May 2026.
This includes extended access libraries.

Due to building issues, Knowle Library is closed.

While Knowle Library is closed, Wick Road Library will be open some extra hours:
- Mondays, 1pm to 5pm
- Thursdays, 11am to 7pm
- Monday: 1pm to 5pm
- Tuesday: 11am to 5pm
- Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday: 11am to 7pm
- Friday: 11am to 5pm
- Saturday: 10am to 5pm
- Sunday: Closed

Getting there
By bus: find information and plan your journey on the TravelWest website.
Parking
Drivers: On street parking is available near Broadwalk shopping Centre. The multi-storey car park is closed at present.
Accessibility
There is a small lift by the entrance of the Mall. Note: this lift may not be suitable for large wheelchairs.
We have a low-level service counter. The accessible toilet is in the staff area.
Medivac chair: available from Broadwalk Centre.
